Kids Class
Our philosophical emphasis in this class is “we are at our best when helping others”. Basic studio etiquette, self control, and basic martial art skills are taught in a safe and fun environment. Students may participate in any session.
Ages: 5 and 6 year olds
Session 1: March 5-March 28; Exam on March 28
Session 2: April 2-May 2; Exam on May 2.
Cost for Sessions 1 and 2: $90.00 per session, or $80.00 if enrolled and paid before the first day of the session. Uniforms are $39.50.
Session 3: May 7-May 23; Exam on May 23
Cost for Session 3: $70.00 (shorter session), or $60.00 if enrolled and paid before the first day of the session.
Days: Monday and Wednesday Times: 4:00-4:40

The philosophical emphasis, depending on rank, is courage, concentration, endurance, and honesty. Development of self-defense skills facilitates concentration, self-control, respect, and achievement. The fun and safe environment fosters confidence and leadership. Students also learn a proper warm-up and end of class stretch.
Juniors
This is an ongoing course of study. New students may start at any time.
Days: Monday and Wednesday Times: 4:45-5:45
Location: Town Hall Gym
Instructor: Andy Tyzzer, Certified Instructor, and Staff
Cost: Tuition is $115.00 per month. If student commits to one year of training, then tuition is $99.00 per month.
Prerequisites: 7 years old or graduation from the “kids” class.
Material: Instructional Guides are required for each belt color. Cost is $35.81 including tax.
Philosophical emphasis is humility, control of power, speed control and tension and relaxation.
Students continue to develop confidence through goal setting and achievement. Self-discipline creates the opportunity for partner work with basic self-defense against a grab and free sparring. There is an emphasis on cultivation of character and a habit of excellence.
Adults
Introductory Classes for new students are scheduled as needed. Introduction to Soo Bahk Do is a three-class overview of the art. The first two classes are private classes taught by a certified instructor. Students are then evaluated for admission. The cost is $20.00 for the three classes.

Description: Study of the history, traditions, philosophy, discipline/respect, and technique of this traditional martial art. The purpose of this course is to develop mentally, emotionally, and physically to face life’s challenges and achieve goals. The class environment is active and supportive.
